So, we have taken a lot of care in developing the most simple and user-friendly experience from start to finish. Each category elegantly opens up, providing detail as well as visuals and information so your trippers can ensure they have everything they need for the perfect trip. Our online booking system is one of a kind. We provide helpful information buttons, that integrate video and visuals, for every stage of the process so your trip goers can book easily with full information on what every section means.
Features include a personal room allocation portal – feeding from the friendship groups for every booker, a quick book function available on desktop and mobile allowing booking within a few clicks (great for quick sell-out groups!), as well as automated payment reminders to take the strain off you as committee.
It has always been the most reliable in the industry but now it’s also the most comprehensive and accessible because it feeds directly into the Wasteland Travel app so you can access your booking at any time.
On our booking portal and website we have a Live Chat pop up which feeds directly into our customer service team who are on hand to help our clients get as much help as they need during their booking period. There is also a very comprehensive Frequently Asked Question’s section on the site which has all the answers to the questions which may seem trivial but get asked all the time. The App
The Wasteland Travel App is easy to use, free to download and perfect for our modern traveller demographic. Years in the making, the app is a versatile, dynamic and user friendly platform which enhances your experiences before, during and after travelling with us. Built bespokely from the ground up, it’s the only App in student snowsports with all features completely integrated.
There are a number of new features for this year to help both your committee and trippers such as the addition of Live Chat to the app so help is on hand at the drop of a button – anytime, anyplace, clients now have the ability to book their trips, options and extras, literally, at their fingertips using Apple and Google Pay.
As committee we understand how important it is for you to see how your trip’s stats are going – the Reporting Dashboard is going to be perfect tool for you this season. All Travel information will be available on the app so you know where you need to be and when, in addition checking-in for travel, lift pass collection and event ticketing will all be done via QR codes.
You’d think getting large groups of students to and from resort would be a logistical nightmare. But after nearly 30 years in the game and a team of highly experienced account managers that can book transfers in their sleep, it’s really very simple.
We offer a variety of transport options to suit you, including coaches, flights and transfers.
One of the cheapest and easiest options is to take the coach, which is how most of our groups like to travel. You choose a pick-up point (usually on campus), make the most of duty free on the ferry and then snooze your way to resort.
If you’re happy to pay a little more money (depending on the week) for a shorter journey time, we provide transfers to and from the main airports in the Alps – these include: Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble and Milan/Turin.
Of course, if you want to be a total rebel and book all your travel independently, that’s fine too! In these cases, we just ask you to provide us with your ETA to resort so we can ensure we make the appropriate arrangements for your arrival – you are able to do this via the booking page!

For those of you who are new to snowsports or haven’t invested in your own gear, hiring kit can be a time-consuming addition to your trip.
So, to save you time on your holiday you just need to fill in a short form via the booking page icluding height, weight and foot size, and your hire will be ready to collect in a matter of minutes on your arrival

Lessons
Generally speaking, the best time to learn to ski is when you’re a fearless child who laughs in the face of danger. Sadly, those days are long gone but don’t worry because the next best time is most definitely at university.
We understand that heading to the slopes for the first time can be daunting. Let’s face it, standing at the top of a mountain with long objects attached to your feet that are specifically designed to make you go down the mountain faster, is a scary prospect.
But, do not fear! Because not only will it turn out to be the most fun you’ve ever had, we worked out that around 35% of the students we take away have never skied before either. So you’re not the first, you won’t be the last and most importantly you’re not alone.

One of the best things about learning at uni is being able to do it with your mates. Not only is it hilarious but it’s great for moral support and learning the ropes (or slopes in this case).
We work with the best instructors who have years of experience teaching all different ages and levels. So, whether you’re a beginner, an expert or you just need a quick refresher, you can choose from a range of lessons when you book your trip.

We all love to re-live the amazing memories we’ve had on holiday, and the better the media quality, the closer you feel to being back there – which is why we’ve chosen our media partners very carefully. We have a longstanding relationship with two media agencies who are not only incredibly talented, but also love the snowsports industry just as much as we do. From full trip edits, to industry standard video and photography packages, we work with both teams to produce the best quality content for you to enjoy.
